R.G. Bernier, legendary Whitetail buck hunter, nature photographer, writer, author and consultant from Standish, Maine has devoted much of his life to studying, writing, photographing and speaking about the greatest animal God ever created, the white-tailed deer. He is the author of four immensely popular books, The Deer Trackers, On The Track, The Deer Tracker's Journey and Dickie The Deer -The Salvation of a Fawn. R.G. writes monthly columns devoted exclusively to the whitetail, the animal's behavioral characteristics and how to hunt successfully. Dick is the Northeastern Field Editor for Deer & Deer Hunting Magazine, Hunting Editor for Outdoors Magazine and a contributing writer for Whitetail News. His articles and photographs have appeared in every major outdoor publication in America including, Quality Whitetails, North American Whitetail, North American Hunter, New England Game & Fish, Outdoor Life, Field & Stream, Petersen's Hunting and Sports Afield.
He owns and operates a unique consulting business geared towards helping hunters become more proficient.
In a news release issued by Deer & Deer Hunting magazine in 2003 with the appointment of Bernier as the magazine's newest field editor, Dan Schmidt, editor of the publication wrote, "R.G. Bernier is really a living legend. He has perfected the craft of outsmarting wilderness bucks, having tracked down and killed dozens of hog-bodied Whitetails and knows more about deer behavior than many professional biologists."
Bernier is an active member of the Professional Outdoor Media Organization, life member of the National Rifle Association and the North American Hunting Club of America.
R.G. has lectured to packed audiences all across the country with his highly informative and entertaining white-tailed deer seminars.
